Microsoft's New AI: Your Business Could Save Hours Daily

Microsoft has just launched a new feature called Copilot Cowork. Think of it as a super-smart assistant for your business that can handle bigger, more complicated jobs than your standard AI tools.

Traditionally, AI assistants like Microsoft's existing Copilot might help you draft an email or summarise a document. Cowork takes it a step further. It can link up different programs you use every day – like your email, project management software, and document editors – to complete a whole sequence of tasks on its own. For example, it could pull data from one system, summarise it, paste it into a report, and then send it to the right people, all without you lifting a finger.

This isn't a free extra, though. It builds on Microsoft's existing Copilot service, which already costs businesses about $30 a month per user. Cowork adds another layer of cost, based on how much you use it. So, while it promises big time savings, businesses will need to weigh up those savings against the extra expense.
